Tubex

Short for YouTube expert.

A person that does no real research on a particular subject but believes they are an expert on the subject. To defend their position this person may watch 1-2 YouTube videos, will screen shot a headline without having read the article, will quote small sections of bias articles, or will take a small snip out of an article and use it out of context. This person will defend their position until their dying breath or until they decide to block you on social media beacause you proved them wrong.

Karen watched one video on YouTube and now she's a Tubex on car seat safety.

1) n. In New England, it is a brass musical instument, conical in construction, about 18 feet long, with a large mouthpiece, and is the lowest of the brass instruments.
