Get the Trumponomics mug.I'm ready to coin the term Trumpononics: Economic policy proposals, often delivered via tweet or at a large public rally, that appear superficially to benefit working class Americans, despite all objective evidence to the contrary, yet are hailed by Trump's supporters as a victory.
Trump supporters cheered after the president's tweet about a 10% tariff on all imported Chinese goods. This is more Trumponomics, as most credible economics believe tariffs such as these will only increase the prices most Americans have to pay for goods.
