Used in the same way as 'tooting your own horn', except in this instance it doesn't make you look good. Tooting your own vuvuzela results in making yourself look annoying.

1. She tried to toot her own horn about how much she reads, but ended up tooting her own vuvuzela when she revealed she was reading Twilight!

2. Don't be caught tooting your own vuvuzela lest you appear douche-y

Tooting Handshake

A friendly greeting, given by motorists to passers by. It is given in the form of dangling a flaccid penis from a car window, and swerving close to a pedestian so that it slaps them in the face.

Popularised in the Tooting area of London, it is now something of a local tradition.

Best carried out while the car is moving, in case a quick getaway is needed.

"That jogger looks like she needs some encouragement, wind down the window and I'll give her a Tooting Handshake as we go past"

Toothing is a technological evolution of the sexual practice known as "dogging". People with Bluetooth enabled mobile devices broadcast to other Bluetooth enabled devices in the area that they are "up for a shag" They text some flirtatious sexual banter back and forth for a bit, then arrange to meet up for an impromptu shag in the nearest nook or cranny.
