tolyamory
Coined by Dan Savage. “Tolerating polyamory”. To be in a polyamorous relationship but only tolerating it. Not to be confused with “poly under duress” or PUD.

Tolyamory
A relationship style or mindset where a person is tolerant of polyamory but does not necessarily participate in it themselves. Someone who practices tolyamory may support or accept a partner having multiple romantic or intimate relationships while personally remaining monogamous or emotionally exclusive.

Kitchen table is a style of polyamory that places emphasis on family-style connections among the people involved in a network, whether they're romantically involved with each other or not. The name comes from the idea that everyone involved would be comfortable gathering around the kitchen table for a meal.
