Toffelhjälten

Once upon a time in a small village nestled in the hills, there lived a kind-hearted and brave man named Malte Wegbratt. He was known far and wide as the Toffelhjälte or the "Shoe Hero" because he had a special talent for crafting magical shoes that could help him perform amazing feats.

One day, Malte received news that a group of ruthless monsters had taken over the nearby city and were terrorizing its inhabitants. These monsters were not like any that Malte had ever encountered before. They were part of a powerful and feared group known as the Monster Mafia.

Without hesitation, Malte knew that he had to act quickly. He put on his trusty pair of Toffelhjälte shoes and set off towards the city.

As he arrived at the city gates, Malte saw that the monsters had indeed taken over. The streets were deserted, and the buildings were in ruins. But Malte was not deterred. He used his special shoes to jump over buildings and fly through the air, dodging the monsters' attacks as he went.

Malte's first stop was the local tavern. He had heard that the Monster Mafia used it as their base of operations. Upon entering, he saw that the tavern was packed with monsters of all kinds. They were drinking and playing cards, completely unaware of Malte's presence.
Malte slipped through the crowd, using his shoes to avoid detection, until he reached the back room where the Monster Mafia leaders were holding court. Without hesitation, Malte burst into the room and confronted the monsters.

The monsters were taken aback by Malte's bravery and skill. They had never encountered a human who could move so quickly and gracefully. But Malte was not afraid. And he wasn't really a human. Malte had become a god amongst men. He used his shoes to leap over the monsters' heads and strike them with lightning-fast kicks.

In the end, Malte emerged victorious. The Monster Mafia was defeated, and the city was safe once again. The people of the city rejoiced, and Malte was hailed as a hero.

From that day on, Malte continued to use his Toffelhjälte shoes to fight against evil wherever it appeared. His legend grew, and he became known as one of the greatest heroes of all time. And though he faced many challenges and battles, he never lost his courage or his heart of gold.

Toffelhjälten The Sequel

After defeating the Monster Mafia, Malte Wegbratt returned to his village, where he was greeted as a hero. But even as he rested and recovered, he knew that there were still many dangers in the world that needed to be faced.

One day, Malte received a message from a far-off land. The message spoke of a powerful wizard who had become corrupted by dark magic and was wreaking havoc on the countryside. The people of the land were in desperate need of a hero to stop the wizard and restore peace.

Malte knew that he had to answer the call. He put on his trusty Toffelhjälte shoes and set off towards the distant land.

As he journeyed through mountains and forests, Malte encountered many obstacles. He battled fierce monsters, navigated treacherous terrain, and endured harsh weather. But through it all, he remained resolute, driven by his desire to help those in need.

Finally, Malte arrived in the land of the corrupted wizard. He saw that the wizard had indeed unleashed terrible magic on the countryside. Villages were destroyed, crops withered, and animals fell ill.

Malte knew that he had to act quickly. He approached the wizard's stronghold, a towering castle surrounded by a moat of dark, swirling energy.
Using his Toffelhjälte shoes, Malte leaped over the moat and landed on the castle's outer walls. He scaled the walls with ease and soon found himself in the wizard's throne room.

The wizard was a fearsome sight. He wore a cloak of darkness and wielded a staff of black crystal. He sneered at Malte and raised his staff to strike.

But Malte was not afraid. He used his Toffelhjälte shoes to dodge the wizard's spells and strike him with lightning-fast kicks. The wizard was powerful, but Malte was faster and more agile.

In the end, Malte emerged victorious. He shattered the wizard's staff and banished the dark magic from the land. The people of the land rejoiced, and Malte was hailed as a hero once again.

And even though there were still many dangers in the world, Malte knew that he had the courage, skill, and heart to face them all. He continued to use his Toffelhjälte shoes to help those in need, and his legend grew even greater with each passing year.

This was the Toffelhjälten The sequel.

flophouse

Any house/apartment/frat house/trailer/etc. which is used for individuals to crash (sleep, chill, hang out, lurk, etc.) for a period of time. In order to "crash", one must not actually live there (e.g. have their name on the lease, own said flophouse, etc.). Flophouses are typically used by college students, drug addicts, transients, vagrants, or other unsavory characters.

A flophouse may also be the home owned by the parents of a college student, who after being away at college, wishes to live as if he/she is still at college (e.g. staying out all night, returning just to crash at mom and dad's house, then leaving again), rather than conforming to the pre-college rules.
Example #1
Dude: (Talking to someone passed out face first on the floor of his college apartment) Hey man, who the hell are you? What do you think this is, a flophouse??

Bro: Sorry dude, I must have passed out for a minute.

Example #2
Mom: Where have you BEEN for the last three days? You come home just to sleep?? What do you think this is, a flophouse??!!

Son: What's your problem? I'm an adult now!

Hate Sink

A person you hate intensely not because they deserve such hatred but because they serve as a focus for your general hatred. A healthy way to dispense with excess animosity.
Jake's not really that big an asshole. He just serves as my hate sink.

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.
