In the old days of no central heating, a night so cold it took 3 dogs sleeping with you to keep you warm enough.

Man, last night was real cold, definitely a three dog night.

Three Dog Night 

A long-running American rock band formed in 1967 by Daniel "Danny Hutton" (September 10, 1942-), Cory Wells (February 5, 1941- October 21, 2015), and Charles "Chuck" Negron (June 8, 1942-).

Originally named "Redwood", the band released several albums over a period of nearly ten years, before they disbanded in 1976 after several poorly-received albums as a result of Hutton's and Negron's drug abuse problems.

The disbandment was short-lived, however. Five years later, in 1981, they reunited. While their most recent album was released in 1983, they are still active today, even after Cory Wells' death.

Three Dog Night is best known for the following songs:

What a desperate fool with a viagra side effect of prolonged erection does to rid himself of the prolonged hard-on.

I went down to the frozen yogurt shop and yelled, all the frozen yogurt is on me!

Soon I was at home being laid by Three dogs, eerr women.

So with that said, the doctors told me they now call the remedy a three dog night.
