The Shift

The "Shift" is when a guy (sometimes a gal) goes from DFS to DFL. Sometimes it happens because he has been dating seriously and sees the long-term potential or possibly has experienced lovematism. Sometimes it happens because he is bored with superficial one-night-stands or FWB and wants to settle down with one woman.

The "Shift" is when a guy leaves the dateship boards the relationship.
Guy One to Guy Two: "Are you going through THE SHIFT? Stop that crazy talk about her being 'the one.'"

Susan to Jane: "Wow, he's so mature for his age to have gone through THE SHIFT."

The Script (in relation to the shift and the inbetween)

The prophecy in regards to the new world order and it’s accent into absolute power according to Wikipedia the reference to
“The Supernatural Chess Game

When I started to hear extraordinary things through an audio clavoiency that I still receive today in writing this. These “ telepathic “ messages were sometimes heard by others too and in conjunction with physical energies) ghosts ect. For me personally I had both combined and went through very intense awakenings in the half dream state or trance I called the inbetween.

My accurate sixth sense aggravated those wishing to control my gifts from the astral planes. They have hunted me throughout Australia attempting to discredit my legitimacy of being an important figure in our new spiritual world that is now physically present to be seen in the trees and the air as it hums.

It was another awakening to discover that I played a vital part in this “supernatural chess game” as described in the new world order prophesy on Wikipedia.
I named my experience and journey “ the script” I refer to the gang stalkers and there street dramafuls as “ the play” or as per Wikipedia “ orchastrated business” by “ front organisations “

The Paradigm Shift

In a general sense, a change happening on a vast scale. A shift in the big picture, if you will.

Specifically "The Paradigm Shift" refers to a certain oft discussed and theorized shift in social groups concerning several different intersecting social circles. The Paradigm Shift did not happen within the originally proposed timeline of the spring of 2008, but new evidence has come to light suggesting that The Paradigm Shift may still be happening, just on a larger timeline and consisting of not exactly the same changes as earlier expected.
"The Paradigm Shift" may still come to manifest itself in the first quarter of 2009.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
