The Bono Effect

The Bono Effect is a phenomenon that occurs when an individual or group aims to be universally popular to the masses, but eventually ends up with widespread rejection and criticism due to over-exposure and/or claims of insincerity. Named after Bono, the lead singer of the Irish Band U2, who along with his band faced considerable commercial and critical backlash starting in the mid to late 2000's after two and a half decades of solid success.

The Sonny Bono

A sexual act in which a woman gives a hand job to men on either side of her while blowing a guy standing in front of her. This gives the appearance of skiing while taking some wood in the mouth. Kinda like Sonny did. Ouch.
Dude, Carissa gave me, Tom, and Mike The Sonny Bono last night. I was the tree!

The Chaz Bono

Is a sexual act a man performs on a woman when he penis has failed him, just won't work, is too damaged from overuse or just doesn't exist. It consists of one or two meaty-sausage like fingers placed inside your lady friend, stimulating her "G-Spot" while simultaneously performing oral sex on her...
"Dude, I had WAY too much to drink last night and "Mr. Happy" just wouldn't cooperate, but Muffy insisted on getting off, so I gave her three orgasms using the Chaz Bono. She screamed her head off and then passed out, sweet, sweet victory...

Hittin The Trees Like Sonny Bono

The smoking of an assload of pot at once. 4 blunts, 3 joints, 4 bowls, a whole pan of "adult brownies", a whole loaf of bread (toast) with cannibutter, and 15 bong rips to be exact. And its funny because Sonny Bono died skiing into a tree.
Damn, Ricky! We're HITTIN THE TREES LIKE SONNY BONO!
Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
