a textbook you're supposed to buy for a class but never end up using

etymology: textbook + extraneous = textraneous
I'm not buying any textbooks for this class until we're a few weeks into the semester. I have a feeling we're not going to use all of them and I'm not throwing away money on textraneous books

textrovert

1. One who feels an increased sense of bravery over texting, as opposed to in person.

2. One who will often only say what they really feel over text messages.
Kelly: "So how'd the conversation go with Bill last night?"

Wendy: "Ah he's such a textrovert. We didn't make any progress until I went home and he spilled his guts over texts."

An argument or heated discussion in which takes place between two or more people via text message.
Person 1: omg I'm so sick of ur shit
Person 2: well my shit isn't as bad as ur's

textrogen 

The counterpart to textosterone. Found at varying levels in both genders of the human species, it is expressed at higher levels in women than in men. High levels of textrogen result in lots of abbreviations in texts, mass texting, and rapid texting, to name a few.
Girl #1: OMG so yday, I put my phne on the counter and when I got bak like 5 sec l8r I had 23 txts from Jane

Girl #2: OMG totes lolz so much textrogen!
Girl #1: IKR!
Girl #2: R! LOL!

The list of words that are in your cell phone's T9 library which appear when you type in the correct sequence of numbers.
Guy 1: Text Mike that "We'll see him l8er."
Guy 2: "L8er" is not in my textionary. I'll have to add it now.
