Words you can keep
The end pieces of a loaf of bread, that still remain in the bag.
I went to make a grilled cheese sandwich, but all the good pieces of bread were gone. Only the stumps were left in the bag.

Stumps the clown

Chilled out man with face tats, Raging alcoholic. He's lived and his mind bears the signs of a life lived. He once went on a trip in which a chow-chow dog told him the meaning of life in a secret underground lair full of midgets playing rhythm drums around a bonfire. I learned a lot form that man.
Stumps the clown: Y'all wanna see my bullet wound?
Crowd: Yes!!! Show us!
(Stumps shows them his bullet wound)
Crowd:....(some people show signs of extreme offense. punks and friends cheer.)
Stumps the clown kicked heroin. He is a hot man.

Stumps Gimpmore

This title is reserved for the masters of worthlessness & desperation. So devout in their mission they are willing to stick their hand in a running mower but so spineless in their effort they only can graze a finger. Their goal being solely for empathy & laziness. Excusing themselves from doing anything requiring effort because their finger is hurt.
Look over there, Stumps Gimpmore whining about his hand so his ex will help him.

pull up stumps

The end of play; finishing up a session; stopping what you are doing
"Righto lads, I'm gonna pull up stumps, I've had enough for today"
"You guys look like you had a big one last night, what time did you pull up stumps?"

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
