To be taken by a ponzi scheme. To lose money on a venture when one party doesn't live up to its' agreements. To get stung in a bad deal where one side doesn't live up to expectations.

"Our company is thinking of sponsoring that race team, but we need to perform better due-dilly so as not to get stingered again."

"We tried to pre-order that new crowd-funded widget, but we got stingered and the company never delivered. I'm still waiting!!!"

Siebeled

To have lots of your time wasted by Siebel, usually as a result of Siebel not working as specified, or having undocumented and unexpected features.

Developer 1: I just spent the last 6 hours trying to get this small Siebel (workflow, script, config) working, and it's still screwed. I think it hates me.
Developer 2: Mate, you just got Siebeled. You can be working till midnight each night for the rest of the week, and you'll still feel like you've gone nowhere.

Being physically abused, battered, beaten up or assaulted by a Pittsburgh Steelers football player, employee or a fan of the team. A domestic violence victim by a Steelers football player, employee or fan. To have been domestically abused by a partner/ spouse or former partner / spouse.

Person: What happened to your eye and face?
Person (usually a female): My boyfriend / husband and I got into an argument last night and he steelered me.

Cedrick Wilson was arrested, charged with assault and released by the Pittsburgh Steelers football team after he steelered his ex-girlfriend in a bar.
