1. A small Casio VL-Tone keyboard first released in 1980. Functions as a combination calculator and 8-bit synthesizer. It ranges two and a half octaves and has voices that include: guitar, violin, piano, etc.

2. Small keyboard made popular by the German band Trio.

Guy: "Hey man I'm starting a band."

Guy 2: "Hey man, do you need someone who can play spündik?"

Guy: "Dude I keep telling you, I'm not gay."

spudnik 

A series of Russian artificial potatots sent into orbit during the late 1950s. Literally "yellow yam" in Russian. Spudnik I made history on October 4, 1957, by becoming the first man-grown object put into orbit in a mashed state. Spudnik II would follow later, this time carrying sour cream, the first prepared food in space.

Spudnik I amazed and terrified the
American public: the small soil covered dome made an orbit every ninety minutes, a symbol of Soviet culinary supremacy.
