SoundClown 

A male bedroom musician who sends unsolicited links to his SoundCloud account in an attempt to impress potential romantic partners. SoundClowns are generally found on social media and online dating platforms. They will often slide into their target's DM's, using phrases like "hey, u up?", or "peep this 👀" before sending their link. Their intent distinguishes them from regular self-promoters -- receiving a link from a SoundClown is like receiving a musical dick pic.

Whatever it may be your newly found self-proclaimed underground soundcloud artist (*Rapper in most notable cases) sees him/herself as. This is it. More than what the movie(s) could ever depict that sad creature as.

I’m actually more freightend by the felogy of the rappers more so than of their sketchy counterpart movie clowns.

"Yo dude you hear my new banger yet? It’s called self-deception. It’s soo real man I couldn’t even deny the factuality of that sh*t if I tried to man!"- X number of kids desperatly trying to be something they’re not as they imagine all the money they could make if they stutter the right amount of meaningless words in a rythmic fashion.

"You should seek some immediate counselling kid that right there is just not right, you’re acting like a complete SoundClown."

someone who believes they are up and coming in the rap game, so they start writing lyrics on the back of their math homework and recording on their iPhone.

-very generic
-raps about generic things that are usually rapped about (money, cars, etc.)
-can be found on Instagram posts self promoting. examples:
“Y’all should give me a chance, I’m the next big thing 🔥🙏🙏🙏🔥”
“My new song (generic song name) just came out, it’s so fire y’all needa go like it up🖤🖤🖤☠️☠️🙏🙏🔥🔥👀👀⛓”

-sometimes, the music can be good, but very rarely
-generic rap name such as:
“Lil Raqqxr” or “Bandz”
commonly in SoundCloud rapper names, vowels are replaced with “x” to appear edgy or different. It’s a style that’s over- used.

Once a soundcloud rapper is finished recording, he will release his music on SoundCloud and create a mixtape that consists of 2 songs. To promote his new up and coming mixtape, he’ll comment on every Instagram post possible.

-loses interest in rapping after 1 week

A middle-school kid who thinks he can rap, so he hits the "studio" (the couch) and records with top notch music equipment (his iPhone mic). He usually doesn't have any recording software, so the quality of the sound is worse than the actual lyrics. Hits like five plays then tells everyone at school that his song's about to go platinum.

Kid: "Mom, I wanna drop outta school to be a soundcloud rapper"
