Another way to say okay when responding to somebody. It is neither a negative or positive way to respond.

EX:
Thomas: I'm going to leave in around ten minutes.
You: Schmedit.
EX:
Johnothan: You should go to the other side of the backyard to see the blue jay better.
You: Schmedit.
