The Satanic Temple

An Atheistic group with the goal of fighting for religious freedom by ensuring the government doesn't give special treatment to one religion over another. Despite what the name implies, they do not worship, much less believe in, Satan. They merely view Satan as a symbol of the opposition.

They are very progressive in their ideology and value compassion and reason over doctrine. They do not believe in anything supernatural.

Tenets:

One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.

The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.

One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.

The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own.
Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.

People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.

Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.

As a member of The Satanic Temple, I believe we should be compassionate to others and help those in need without expecting anything in return.

Satanic Punk

Any type of sub-genre in the Punk Rock category espousing lyrics and/or imagery which advocates Satanism. Satanic Punk sometimes crosses over with Horror Punk.

The Quintessentials were the first Satanic Punk band I ever heard and they fully support the Church of Satan.

A disorder when you have to take random and disturbingly large shits out of no where and you can't stop yourself. Also known as SBS (Satanic Butthole Syndrom). Sufferers find this syndrom to strike at the most inconventient times possible, and are difficult to wipe.
