A term commonly used by those tied to the luxury cruise industry, expressing a desire to follow their compass and conquer the ocean seas with wanderlust and enthusiasm.

Metaphor for pirating or downloading content through mysterious means (presumably illegal means). Ambiguous means of describing pirating without saying the word directly .
Friend: Where did you watch the new episode of X?
Response: I just sailed the high seas for it.

To download software without obtaining a license through financial transaction.
It wasn't able to purchase that application in my region so I had to sail the seven seas.

Sailing the Seas of Cheese 

The phrase "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" means that the speaker is experiencing great personal change. The Seas of Cheese is an album made by "Primus" in 1991. The album's title is referenced throughout the album, and referenced in many albums after this ones release.
