Words you can keep

Put you in the rose garden

1. To physically carry a human into the Rose Garden and hold them there to see Oksana debut her new album live.

2. To kill and burry your wife, girlfriend, or babies momma because she doesn't love you and you deserve to be blown.
Nicole Brown Simpson: Hey Babe my friend Ronald Goldman and I are going to go make some grilled cheese sandmmiches at my place, you want me to save ya one?

OJ Simpson: You fucking cunt you better not.... I swear to God I'll drive over there and put you in the rose garden, I'm capable!

I never promised you a rose garden

usually a response given after being blamed by someone for a situation that didn't live up to their lofty (and sometimes unrealistic) expectations.
Person 1: I can't believe I married you, this is not the life I signed up for!

Person 2: Oh yeah? Well, I never promised you a rose garden.

Grandma's Rose Garden

An old lady's bung hole aka ballon knot.
Where's grandpa?

Not sure. He said he was going to tend to Grandma's Rose Garden.

I'm going to throw up.

The Rose Garden

The lawn in front of the Main Building where students host anything from Fall Festivals to mildly homoerotic Shakespeare plays
Did you see Twelfth Night in the Rose Garden last year? They tied that guy up to the pole and blindfolded him, it was crazy.

getting rose-gardened

An expression describing the experience of being killed by someone who is so arrogantly confident that they can get away with it that they bury you in plain sight.
He seems like a nice enough guy, but she'd better check him out first to make sure she's not going to wind up getting rose-gardened.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
