"Baby Boomer resentment" is a term used to describe the growing feeling of resentment among "Millennials" that they are working to pay for the Social Security and Medicare of Baby Boomers, but they are paying into a system that will be bankrupt and gone by the time they are old enough to retire and have the same benefits. They feel they will be robbed. . . . . . . {The Millennial Generation (or Millennials), also known as Generation Y, describes the demographic group following Generation X. Since there are no exact dates (as of 2011) for when the Millennial Generation starts and ends, commentators have used birth dates ranging somewhere from the mid-1970s to the early 2000s.
