a term which Derick explains on his blog: "This new verb means that some presentation speaker drew all the audience away from other presentations being given at the same time. This effect usually occurs when Rasmus Lerdorf is having a presentation at the same time as another speaker has, though this is not necessary that the person who rasmusses you is Rasmus itself."

During the conference several speakers were "rasmussed"

Rasmussen Statistics

Fake or selectively massaged statistics published in the interest of supporting a particular narrative. Based on techniques from "How to Lie with Statistics."
Rasmussen Statistics include positive poll selection, house bias and sampling distortion and are generally inaccurate and counter factual.

Named for celebrity pollster Scott Rasmussen who selectively did not poll PA-12 because he knew the liberal candidate would win.
Rasmussen statistics are often cited by teabaggers, conservatives, and other followers of the Tea Party Movement....for example, "the Tea Party Movement is bipartisan and multi-racial" is an example of Rasmussen Statistics.

Hailey Rasmussen

Hailey Rasmussen means Bautiful devotion. This is somebody who constantly works every day to be somebody better than who they were yesterday. This is someone who's felt the dirt and grime of life; pushed and dragged into the mud; someone who had every right to be just as cruel as the experiences she was put through. But she didn't. Hailey chose to be someone who she could have relied on back then. She chose to be somebody who could inspire others to be better. She chose to be herself. At the end of the day... there is no one who is more devoted... and caring, as Hailey.
