There are two ways used in P.R.:
1) Puñeta (never with an s on the end) is a vulgar curse word used for expressing frustration, in a sudden moment of scare or used to say "I don't give a damn or shit". Also other words that can replace this expression could be: "carajo, coño, mierda, cojones"
2) A "Puñeta" also refers to the act of masturbation and it also used in plural with an s at the end.

He was made infamous all across the universities of Puerto Rico and the even in the USA because of the video. Remember that this all happened a few days after they caught the singer Elvis Crespo masturbating in an airplane. His name is now a synonym for masturbation, watching porn or both.
