The stance taken by most redneck, ignorant, southern, christian, conservatives on the issue of abortion. This stance, however, is COMPLETELY contradicted by its' followers unmitigated support of the dealth penalty, but usually, they're too blind to see this.

The /radical/ idea that a person should not be able to choose to kill an innocent unborn baby because they refuse to take responsibility for their previous choices.

Prolife people are voices for the unborn, who cannot defend themselves.

Secular prolife

A faction of the prolife movement that is little known. It is made up of people who don't take a religious stand but they are against abortion. They may or may not believe in God but they are not fundamentalist and they resent those groups controling the movement. There position is that humans are a masterpiece of evolution and human fetuses shoul not be so thoughtlessly aborted. They blame society for abortion for being so puritanical about sex and putting shame on unwed mothers and making it so financaly hard for mothers to raise childern.

Secular prolife movement 

A movement that does not believe in abortion but also thinks that religion should have no part in the debate and that it in fact hurts the cause making prolifers look like a bunch of religious nuts. It believes that humans are a masterpiece of evolution and should not be thoughtlessly aborted.

A misleading phrase which should actually read: "Pro-governmental regulation and interference on actions that don't remotely nessesitate it."
