A play on the word “caravan;” A bunch of plant fanatics who pile into a group of cars, and go from nursery to nursery on a particular day.

plantarian

plan-tæriăn
noun.

A person who exclusively eats a plant-based diet or assimilates plantarianism. Reasons may include aiming to achieve better health, envisioning to relieve environmental issues caused by animal agriculture or the rejection of eating animals or animal-based substances.

They are similar to strict vegetarians and dietary vegans although they are not keen on adhering to the lifestyle and philosophy of vegans.

May also be classed as entry-level vegans.
My parents are now plantarians for health reasons.

She used to be a vegetarian but is now a plantarian since she ditched eggs and dairy.

Frank is not ready to be a full-fledged vegan so he started to be a plantarian.

Plantain

otherwise known as Platano, or Plantain. It is a fried banana commonly eaten in South America and the like but is enjoyed around the world. May people are under the misconception that it is pronounced Plan-Tain. It's not. that's like saying Moun-Tain.
Me: You idiot, Plantain are pronounced Plan-Tin, not Plan-tain, that's an Americanism like Monies. You don't say Moun-Tain, or Cap-tain do you?
