An exclamatory verb used under duress to indicate that someone should make a choice quickly.
Used when a family member or co-worker spends endless minutes mulling over their choice from a box of donuts. Meanwhile, you are starving and exclaim in the most pc way that you can muster, "Pickafrickin donut already!"
When someone does something to sabotage a co-operative effort under the guise of innocently doing something else entirely unrelated.
Derived from S03E03 of Adult Swim cartoon Rick and Morty whence Rick turns himself into a pickle precisely to avoid a family therapy session.
"We tried to construct the new oil pipeline through Dakota, but a bunch of the locals claimed they have to carry out some sort of spurious ritual right in the path of the pipeline; we've been picklericked!"
or
"We were well-prepared for the annual summer solstice ritual, but some oil company picklericked us by building an oil pipeline right through our sacred hunting grounds"
A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2million.
