Derived from S03E03 of Adult Swim cartoon Rick and Morty whence Rick turns himself into a pickle precisely to avoid a family therapy session.

"We tried to construct the new oil pipeline through Dakota, but a bunch of the locals claimed they have to carry out some sort of spurious ritual right in the path of the pipeline; we've been picklericked!"
