screwed over in commonly positive situations, often times more than once. When a genuine action results in negative
consequences.
A figure of speech derived from an
individual (Pete) who continually receives the short end of the stick in public & private situations.
After waiting in line at Best Buy since 5 am for the new
Nintendo Wii, I was totally Peted when
the Geek Squad cut in front of me and took
the last one.
Friend #1: “Hey man, how did the date go?” Friend #2 reply “great until I got Peted when our server at Bennigan’s happened to be her ex-boyfriend”
