Permastoked

The perfect amount of being stoked permanently, regardless of the situation. Not to be confused with overstoked.

Dude, today was so sick! I woke up, went surfing, saw a couple dolphins, got a babes number, and high-fived an old man! I'm permastoked!

permastoned

The physical and mental state sometimes aquired by someone who consistently smokes, or used to smoke, a lot of weed. Typically characterized by the feeling and appearance of being stoned even when one is still technically sober.

See: Tommy Chong. The guy who works at your local smoke shop. Any stoner with a seemingly permanent smile and lazy eyes.

"Man, my dad hasn't smoked in years, but you can tell he's permastoned from his days on the commune".

permalink

A URL that references a webpage, often one that is dynamically rendered, which displays the information of a single article (usually from an RSS feed) that was featured on the main section of a website but will be or currently is archived.

1) The articles on the frontpage of my blog are generated from an RSS feed, so I'm including a permalink for each page; I just POST the article ID to a PHP webpage that dynamically displays the desired content.

2) The permalinks to all my articles are just SSI pages with filenames of the article IDs. The server includes the XML document of the page with Perl include calls, and I use CSS to control how they are displayed.

permalink

A link to a specific article in the archives of a blog, which will remain valid after the article is no longer listed on the blog's front page (i.e after it has archived).

Instead of just linking to the home page of a blog, use the permalink so people will be able to read the article even after the blog has been updated.

permasin

A type of build found on the online MMORPG Guild Wars. An assassin using Glyph Swiftness, Deadly Paradox and Shadowform can maintain Shadowform indefinitely, giving the user immunity from most types of damage. Often used for farming.
Note: there were permasins before GW:ENexisted, but with its addition the build becomes much simpler.
