Pendemic

A Mounjaro-related panic-buying or shortage period where everyone suddenly starts hunting for pens, ordering early, stockpiling, or jumping between pharmacies before supplies disappear.

A play on “pandemic” and Mounjaro “pens”, the term became popular in UK Mounjaro communities during periods of shortages, price changes and pharmacy chaos.

Often followed by frantic checking of social media and pharmacy websites to see who actually has stock and what everyone is charging.

“The pharmacy says 10mg is out of stock again. Looks like another pendemic.”

“I survived the last pendemic with three pens and absolutely no dignity.”
