Paramystic

A person who stands at the threshold of mystical understanding-not fully enlightened, not a master, yet moving beyond ordinary perception. They navigate the edge of awakening, exploring consciousness, presence, and truth, living in the space between. They interpret the ineffable through language, art, or insight so others can find the threshold too. They are translators of awakening-messengers from the in-between.

You could call Waylander a paramystic; he sees the world in layers, between the mundane and the extraordinary.
