Paso Robles (full name: El Paso de Robles) is a city in San Luis Obispo County, California, United States. Paso Robles is the fastest growing city in San Luis Obispo County: Its population at the 2000 census was 24,297; by 2007 this number had risen to 29,297. It is estimated that by 2010 the population will be approximately 32,400, and that it will reach 44,000 by 2025. Located on the Salinas River north of San Luis Obispo, California, the city is known for its hot springs, and for playing host to the California Mid-State Fair. In English, the name means "Oak Pass" or "The Pass of the Oaks."

Paso Robles

A city located in the SLO County section of the Salinas Valley. The second most populous city in SLO County, with a very large amount of small towns and villages entirely relying on Paso Robles. With one of the most striking examples of a wealth gap, the city looks mostly like suburbs, ghettos, and projects but somehow they managed to make it all 3 at once. The culture is an odd mixture of the general central coast culture, rural Californian, rich rural Californian, and Mexican. You can tell how much someone hates the city based on their usage of "white trash" and "wetback". The Downtown area is very different than the rest of the city and is one of the few areas you'll feel safe walking around at night. The homeless are generally nice people and you can make friends with them using an initial offer of reds or a beer. The gangs aren't violent generally, with shootings only happening once a week at most, you only have to look out for Vagos MC, but you'll always have to look out if you own a food truck for whatever reason. Most people do drugs there, especially weed and alcohol, but also shrooms. Benzos, Opioids, Amphetamines, and Dextromethorphan are also abused. Overall I'd say the city is pretty decent with nice people.

Paso is a two start hick town. 97% of everyone here sucks major balls. and the other 3% can't wait to get out of this close minded, mostly republican, town.
