A Panderghoul (noun) is a person who knowingly abandons integrity,
truth, or long-term good to exploit others for
short-term money, power, or influence—often by weaponizing outrage, pandering, or lies to feed on a base’s fears or desires. Combines "pander" (to gratify baser instincts) 13 and "ghoul" (a
soul-sucking creature), evoking a parasitic, amoral opportunist.
The panderghoul knew his remarks were wholly
false and would create misplaced
anger, but
honesty doesn't pay as well as outrage.
