a piece, or pieces of fruit submerged in moonshine for the purpose of flavoring, and absorbing said 'shine. Once the submerged moonberries have become saturated, they're consumed along with the moonberry flavored 'shine for the purpose of intoxication.

A common name for a fictional type of berry that is seen in many Dungeons and Dragons style universes. In most cases they are fairly unremarkable, sweet and edible, and not much different to most berries we have in the real world. Their unusual name usually instead serves to add a sense of mysticism and curiosity to the place they were grown. They are also commonly consumed in the form of juice and even sometimes wine.
