In the English-speaking expat community in Argentina, the word is often used as a substitute for "big kahuna", "grand sachem", "head honcho", or "quarterback", meaning the person who knows where the coffee machine is, knows who to call, and generally gets things done. The term is probably related to Raúl "Muchinga" Escalante, the boss of Chacarita Juniors' barra brava, one of the fiercest groups of the violent barra era that ran from the late 1970s into the early 2000s. Raúl's nickname was "Muchinga", although many people pronounced it "Mochinga", and that version appears to have spread more widely over time. Chacarita was, and still is, a relatively small football club by Argentine standards, yet it produced one of the country's most feared barra bravas, reportedly backed by powerful union boss Luis Barrionuevo. Muchinga himself was formally indicted on drug trafficking charges and was widely regarded as the dominant figure in the northeastern sector of Greater Buenos Aires. Whether the etymology is correct or not, many locals believe the word evolved from his nickname and eventually became slang for the guy who runs the show, the fixer, the go-to person, the one who really knows how things work.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
