To be love lost, in touch with ones emotions. Also used to express a state of anger towards others.
Wow, I can't believe my buddy is bailing on drinking to go see the English Patient with his new girlfriend. You know he told her he loved her the first week...that so marters.

Wow I've never seen everyone so angry at one person, why do they marter him so much?

Words you can keep

Nothing matters anymore.

Nothing matters anymore — The obvious nihilistic statement that will ultimately define the Post Truth Trump Era. With a growing ability to use Artificial Intelligence to both creates images and voices, subjective reality will be easily questioned driving further riffs in American culture. We have moved from the “Everybody Gets a Trophy Era” into “The All Opinions are Equal Era”. Gods help us all.
Using “ Nothing matters anymore.” In a sentence:

In the post truth World postulated by both Kellyanne “Alternative Facts” Conway; and, Rudi “Truth Isn’t Truth” Giuliani nothing matters anymore — especially nihilism. And I’m looking at you Fox News.

It matters not, what you've done, but what you do with what you've done... for others

A quote from Noah Centineo at the People’s Choice Awards 2019. No one quite understands what he meant, and it has become a joke.

jasmine masters

Jasmine Masters is the OG meme queen of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7. Inventor of the word jush, Jasmine always has something to say.
"I am Jasmine Masters and I have something to say."
"RuPaul's Drag Race has done fucked up drag, bottom line cut and dry."
"No T no shade, no pink lemonade."
"Girl you better get your jush."
"Pop the corn so them childrens can eat."

country matters

old slang term for sexual relations.

I write separately only because it would be a shame to not quote Shakespeare on this one.
Hamlet: Lady, shall I lie in your lap?
Ophelia: No, my lord.
Hamlet: I mean my head upon your lap.
Ophelia: Aye, my lord.
Hamlet: Or did you think I meant country matters?
Ophelia: I think nothing, my lord.
Hamlet: That's a fair thought, to lie between maid's legs.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
