Named for Michigan/NFL Wide Receiver Mario Manningham.

A: "Can you believe the teams that were going to pay me millions of dollars asked about my failed drug tests?"

B: "Yeah, I can, it makes a lot of sense for them to. What did you do?"

B: "Aren't they going to check up on that?"

For years, people on Colts messageboards debated over whether he was a Colts fan who was simply a pessimist (and afraid of the Pats), or was actually a Pats fan. It was a closely guarded secret that he was in fact the legendary troll PatsR.

Manningism 

The irrational worship of an NFL player named Manning. Where if Manning did not exist there would be zero allegiance to anything football. If one names their child Peyton after this undeserving object of praise it should be followed by immediate therapy and, if proven ineffective, incarceration.

John: The Indiana Colts are going to beat the hell out of the Jets.

Lindsay: It's Indianapolis Colts and aren't you from Chattanooga, TN.

John: Yeah, what of it. I gotta go pick up Peytonette from school, bye.
