Mana 

An invisible potency believed to inhabit extraordinary and awesome persons, objects, or phenomena.

Mana is power. Mana is an indigenous Pacific islander concept of an impersonal force or quality that resides in people, animals, and inanimate objects. The word is a cognate in many Oceanic languages, including Melanesian, Polynesian, and Micronesian. In anthropological discourse, mana as a generalized concept is often understood as a precursor to formal religion. It has commonly been interpreted as "the stuff of which magic is formed," as well as the substance of which souls are made.

Mana 

Mana is the founder of Malice Mizer, one of the most well known Japanese visual-kei bands. He is responsible for discovering the all poppular Gackt.

The Japanese goth techno band Schwarz Stein was produced under Mana's Label, Midi: Nette

Currently Mana-sama is working on his solo project, Moi Dix Mois (Me Ten Months). The vocalist of MdM, Juka, some times sound like vocalists from Malice Mizer.

Mana-Sama designs his own beautiful clothes. Which are sold in his Gothic Lolita Store -- Moi-Meme-Moitie.

Both of Mana's parents are classical musicians. He grew up with a strong classical background, but he was more interested in Metal and Rock. Malice Mizer was his vision of the perfect band (mixture of metal, rock, and classical music). Till this day, Mana-sama still says that Malice Mizer is not over (how cute!!)

Though he is male, he usually (make that almost always) dresses up as a girl. He's beautiful and pulls off the EGL look well. He is the ephipany of beauty.

Mana 

A Japanese Musician.

The second Bach. He is one of the founders of Malice Mizer and started Moi dix Mois after its hiatus.

Not only a musician, Mana-sama is also a designer. Moi meme Moitie is widely popular for elegant gothic lolita and elgant gothic aristocrat or EGL and EGA terms Mana-sama himself coined.

He is actually highly respected in Japan even though he is known for crossdressing. He even produces other artists under his label Midi:Nette. Schwarz Stein was the first, but certainly not the last.

He is now producing for Kanon Wakeshima, an eighteen year old celloist signed under Sony for her vocal talent. He writes all her music including her debute single, Still Doll.

Mana-sama is known for his mysterious demure. He doesn't speak in public aside from a few rare occasions preferring that "his music speak for him." He doesn't smile either.

Mana-sama has always been slightly non-conforming. In senior high he cut his hair into a mowhawk and died it green. His father was the band director at the time also showing that even young, Mana-sama was emmersed in music.
