Lintik

The word "Lintik" is a Filipino word that means lightning, expressing anger, if it's raining, or your mom calling you a lintik.

Sometimes the word "Lintik" can be used to alert you're neighbors that it's about to rain. Like for example: "Lumilintik na!" meaning "It's raining!"

Example:
The mom: Lintik ka! Wala ka pang 100 sa grades mo! Malilintikan ka sakin nyan! (You idiot! You didn't pass 100 in you're grades! You'll get a beating from me!)
The child: Sorry mom. I promise I will study!
The mom: English english ka pa jan! Next time mag basa ka at walang video games na yan ha?! (You're speaking english english like that! Next time, you read and there are no video games, all right ?!)
The child: Ok mom. I'll read. *Cries inside*.

Another Example:
Sally: Lumilintik na! HAYYYYY nako! (It's raining! HAYYYYY nako!)
Everyone: *Comes outside to pick up their laundry*

Another nother example:
Guy: Ay lintik! Nakalimutan ko wallet ko! Haysss nako. (Oh my god! I forgot my wallet! Haysss oh dear!)

A person in the Catholic Church who works to destroy the Mass by introducing innovations such as hand-holding and bad translations.
"Lit" comes from liturgy. "-nik" comes from russian. As in "sputnik." It's also been used in words like beatnik, refusenik and no-good-nik. In any case, it is a derogatory term used by Traditional Catholics towards the liberals who have ruined the Church over the past 40 years with their stupid changes to the Mass.

These stupid litniks not only have us holding hands during the Our Father, but now we have to prancing around like a bunch of Kansas City faggots.

Linting

Linting is when you really want to talk to someone ( especially someone you like) but you feel too clingy and uncomfortable. This often happens when you feel like you always start the conversation while texting. When linting you might feel sad because you feel like the person you’re trying to talk to or text is getting annoyed with you or doesn’t really like you when deep inside you know it’s just you, but then you get to thinking that it might not be just you. A lot of times this can be mistaken for overthinking.

Girl 1: I really wanna text him but I’m scared I’m annoying him
Girl 2: Nah you’re not you’re just linting

Lintingco

Lintingco is a last name of a Filipino family. They are rare to find because most of them are in the Philippines. Lintingco is one of the most unique and only name there is. If you have a friend who is Lintingco then be grateful to have one because they are the most caring, loud, and humble people. Some of them are shy but once you get to know them you'll see how loud and funny they could be. If you ever want to meet one some of them are in California. Have fun finding one.
