a norwegian slang word, often used together with å as "ålø", or with da as "lø da". Pronounced as "ohleh" (å lø), "leh dah" (lø da), or "leh" (lø). It was previously used as "cool", or "awesome", but is now more popularely used as "lame", or "upsetting". however, the word can be used simply as an expression of interest with no particular meaning. the word has ties with immigrants, particularely those with arabic descent.
