Kharyp

A derogatory term used in Uzbekistan primarily in Tashkent. Term is mainly used by Russian speaking people living in big cities to people who come from small towns and villages. The meaning of this word is people who are uncultured, uneducated, lacking manners and who don’t speak Russian well.

Similar to the word Mambet used in Kazakhstan as well as the word Myrk used in Kyrgyzstan.
