I stopped my sentence midway to sneeze, but I soon realized it was just a kerchink. What the fuck.

onomatopoeia for the sound of a cash register or a fruit machine paying out.

Would have been acceptable to use three years ago. but after a childrens television show 'Kerching' was launched this term is now only used for sarcasm.

Kerchunk

Amateur Radio term for transmitting or keying up a two-way radio (i.e. base station, mobile, handheld, repeater, etc...)
usually with a microphone of sorts.

1. Dave Kerchunked the mountain top repeater with his handheld radio and heard kickback (squelch tail) from the repeater.
2. Shawn kerchunked his mobile radio on direct while Dave was monitoring the same frequency and heard Shawn Kerchunk.

The word that is still used for money - sometimes. It resembles a cash register or a fruit machine paying out the kerching.

Unfortunately some knob jockey decided that it is fun to make it into a TV show now I can't use it anymore
