A term for someone who is a loser, but doesn't realize it. They are the person in high school that nobody likes, but nobody has the balls to tell. They typically do stupid things like pour out their heart and soul on the internet, get cut from track, and feebly try to hook up with a girl 3 years younger than himself, to no avail. Also characterized by smothering his "friends" (those who are too kindhearted to cast him away outright) with asinine facebook posts, spreading his unpopularity like malignant tumors.

It is a sad existence, because there is nothing actually wrong with them, they are just so socially inept that they contaminate everyone they talk to, and are living in denial of this fact. They'll probably go off to some college and live happy, productive lives, assuming they learn what conversation topics are and aren't appropriate, and learn the definition of "smothering."
