Derived from Robert Louis Stevenson's popular novella, "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"

Dr. Jekyll is a respected doctor and friend of both Lanyon, a fellow physician, and Utterson, a lawyer. Jekyll is a seemingly prosperous man, well established in the community, and known for his decency and charitable works. Since his youth, however, he has secretly engaged in unspecified dissolute and corrupt behavior. Jekyll finds this dark side a burden and undertakes experiments intended to separate his good and evil selves from one another. Through these experiments, he brings Mr. Hyde into being, finding a way to transform himself in such a way that he fully becomes his darker half.
"If I ever needed further justification for my experiments, gentleman; you have just provided it."

Jekyll and Hyde Parenting

A style of parenting that provides a full spectrum of emotional and psychological experiences to a child vis-a-vis the parents’ instability and addictions which lays the groundwork for years of in-depth psychotherapies in which the child, throughout their lifespan, has the opportunity to undo the warp and find some semblance of balance and potentially, a sense of a true self.
Yup, at our house it was nose-to-the-grindstone discipline during the week and then Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride when the weekends rolled around; my parents were practicing devotees of Jekyll and Hyde Parenting.

jekyll-hyde

Used to describe someone who's attitude or behaviour tends to swing from positive to negative. It can also be used when someone is having a sudden seemingly unprovoked off-day.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

1(n) the worst NES game ever made and is also one of the most hardest. The game starts you off being a man and for some reason everyone wants you dead. When you die (which will happen in thirty seconds) you turn into a monster and get struck by lightning and die.

It is also used for fire kindling

Jekyll & Hyde

Jekyll & Hyde was a Broadway musical in the late 90's written and composed by Leslie Bricusse and Frank Wildhorn. It's based (if rather loosely) on the novel "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson. The musical enjoyed a decent Broadway run and was a rather good show.
Unfortunatly, towards the end of its run David Hasselhoff was cast in the role of Jekyll/Hyde. He completely massacred the music and sadly his pitful performace has been captured on DVD for all eternity. Fans of the show or "Jekkies" often harbor an intense hatred for Hasselhoff because of the stigma he set for the show.
Jekyll & Hyde has several memorable songs including "This is the Moment", "A New Life", "In His Eyes" and "Bring on the Men" (which was not actually featured in the Broadway version").
The show has a number of devoted fans (Jekkies) and can still be seen all over the world. Recently, it has been annouced that "Jekyll & Hyde" will soon be made into a major motion picture. It is scheduled to come out in 2007 however, the cast is still unknown at the moment. The film is bound to be successful and will most likely result in a surge of the fan base, much like in the case of "The Phantom of the Opera" (perhaps the most extrodinary musical/story ever (I myself have been a proud "phan" for 9 years)). Many fans eagerly await the film's opening and are completely baffled as to who will be in the cast (hopefully not David Hasselhoff).
Person 1: "I just saw "Jekyll & Hyde", it was really good, I was suprised. I've heard bad things about the show, apparently David Hasselhoff used to be in it."
Jekkie:"David Hasselhoff is the bane of my existance. I'll rejoice in his death."
Person 1:".......k...."

Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde NES

One of the worst awful NES games out there on the NES system that was based on the actual book.Let me name some reason why it's a shitty game for each character.

Jekyll:

1.you have a weapon that won't do anything and it only kills bees.

2.You walk so slow.

3.The townspeople try to kill you for no appearent reason(even animals).

4.It's impossible to get pass your enemies most of the times.

5.If you get to the ending with Jekyll all you'll get is the word "END"

6.Ever time you get hit you anger meter drains out and you turn into Hyde.

Hyde:

1.You go through the same exact levels as you did with Jekyll but with these strange enemies and you have to kill them to turn back into Jekyll.

2.If you reach the exact same point as you did with Dr.Jekyll for no appearent reason you get struck by lightning and the game ends just like that.

So really the goal is to get futher with Dr.Jekyll that Mr.Hyde.
WTF man I just got struck by lightning for no reason!I hate Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde NES!!!
