The word "Jellicle" first appears in "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" by T. S. Elliot, specifically the poem "The Song of the Jellicles". The name "Jellicle cat" is derived from an attempt by T.S. Eliot's infant niece to say "dear little cat"

The act of killing oneself in a manner in which references Hitler's hatred for the Jews. In this endeavor, a large tree is climbed, a rope is tied to the tree, and the other end as a noose around one's neck. Then, the individual jumps off the tree, and uses the noose to swing themselves into a lit oven, filled with a neurotoxin gas.
