When you get extremely excited for an event you are looking forward to as an adult, and your body tenses up to the point where you can't talk or move correctly.

As we sat and planned for the party at the lake with my friends, I got the greechies and couldn't talk or move for a few seconds.

Describes a person of the Greek descent. Usually used as a derogatory term but in some cases is used jokingly.
Pronounced Gree-see.

Alex is Greecy but we love him anyway.

Greech

Greech can be used in various situations. It is functional as a noun, verb or adjective. This word stems from the Minneapolis baby bricks area(South Minneapolis),and is well known among the Greech mob. If it is your boy you call him a Greech. If someone is being a buster he could also be called a Greech. Females can also be known as a greech. Greeches versatility is endless.

Geechy (most commonly spelled Geechee or less often Geechie) is a name historically given to and associated with the dialect of English spoken by white people of the South Carolina low country especially in the region between Georgetown and Beaufort. A typical "Geechee" is from a family that has long resided in the area and acquired the dialect and accent in the home. There has been a movement lately to incorrectly include Geechee as a part of the "Gullah" dialect spoken by the descendants of African-American slaves in the same region and their associated culture. The geechee dialect is sometimes humorously referred to as "Charlestonese"sincec the region it is most commonly spoken is centered around Charleston, SC.
