It's in the name. It's a gay umbrella that can protect you from the homophobes, transphobes and water! It usually has rainbow on the umbrella somewhere. Some gaybrellas include a black outer umbrella that may trick the homophobes and the transphobes to not harrasing you but inside, there is a rainbow, signifying to other gays that you, as well, cuff your jeans.

Just rainbow umbrella repell the homophobes and/or the transphobes too! by blinding them with the gayness of it all.
