One who exhibits a level of pride that is in no way proportional to that individuals level of accomplishment; such individuals can be found as CEO's of large corporations, leaders of democracies, and at your local Baptist Church.

galapant 

Adjective,verb.

Galapant is the singular for feeling a "party in your pants". Usually this term to describe a feeling is used when you're getting "in the mood". A very goodlooking person walking bye could make you feel a galpant coming on.

Gala, is a social event or party. The origins of this word extend from the term "Galavant". The flirtatious nature of this word seemed tame by todays standards.
Examples:

1. I'm feeling a galapant coming on.
2. I'm getting a little galpanty!
3. Yesterday I was so galapanted. This usually refers to an excessive amount of "party in the pants".
4. I'm about to start galapanting. This term is used when in anticipation of a galapant.

galavantin' 

Looking for trouble. Out doing something your parents, spouse, teacher, and/or preacher wouldn't approve of. Breaking laws and moral codes definately fall under the category of "galavantin'"
Don't worry Mom, we won't be gone too long. We're just going galavantin'.

Aw honey, what you upset for? Me and the boys was just galavantin'.
