Any person, group of people, or organization that purposefully spreads Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt (disinformation)for their own amusement or for some gain, political, financial or otherwise.

The FUDsters are out in force about coronavirus, trying to create their brand on others anxieties.

"Chief Funster" (or if you're from Massachusetts, it's the Chief Funstahhhhh) was coined by Tourism Australia as one of "the best jobs in the world".
