For The Record

A preface or add-on one might say to try to cover up self embarrassment, misfortune, or mistake.
"I feel off the balcony, but for the record, I was drunk."

"For the record, I did NOT forget my tampon. It just fell out of my purse."

"When are you going to do something around this house?? For the record, I've lightly dusted and barely vacuumed."

For The Record

What an experienced guy/girl says before they list all the bad things you did while having sex. Happens mainly with people who are undersexed or just losing their virginity.
Girl: Oh, and for the record: You did this, that, these, and those wrong. Next time get it right.

Guy: Can I get a do over?

Girl: No.

just for the record

Refers to the phrase : 'just in case'. Used when you mention, or add a fact that doesn't necessary go with the conversation, but needed to be said.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
