Fluggerbutter

A term of endearment used for people you have close relationships with, like friends, family, or a partner. Derived from the movie "Wreck It Ralph," specifically from a character featured in the "Sugar Rush" video game featured in the movie named Rancis Fluggerbutter. It is typically used in a way that the word "bro" or "dude" would be used, like "Hey dude/bro/fluggerbutter, how's life?"
What's up my fluggerbutters? How's it going?

We're in this together, fluggerbutter!

Hey, my little fluggerbutter, what's wrong?

You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
