je m'en fiche

"Je m'en fiche" is a French expression that can be loosely translated to "I don't care" or "I don't give a damn." It is similar to the French expression "je m'en fous" (I don't give a fuck), but far less vulgar. It is still slang though and usually used in what one could potentially describe as "street French;" albeit a softer street French than the one that would use "je m'en fous" or "j'en ai rien à foutre."

It is a term most often seen on websites that sell parts for mechanical systems, like auto parts, computer parts, etc.

Etymology wise, it stems from the term Microfiche.
