Fashion-core

In the music scene, The breed of show-go-ers/ scene kids that dress themselves based solely upon the type of music they listen to, or the people they hang out with. Usually this is marked by ridculously scene hair, tight pants for guys, clearly marked hardcore band shirts, and lots of bad make-up for the girls.

Scene kid #1- "Did you see that Jack dyed his hair jet black and cut it so it's always in his eyes??"
Scene kid #2- "Oh I'm not even worried, with these tight jeans and eyeliner, I'm so more fashion-core than he'll ever be.."

Fashion x Core

A girl or boy who typically wears bright colorful band tees, tight pants, studded belts, and does their hair in a fashionable way.
A lot of people compare them to scene kids, only instead of being all about the music, they're all about finding their own fashion.
Most of them either alter their clothing to fit them, DIY add things like patches, rips, worn in spots, etc., to their clothes to make them unique.
Some girls wear oversized jewelry (like large bead necklaces and chunky bracelets).
Most also really enjoy doing funky natural color combinations with their hair. (Like having medium to dark brown hair and putting a patch of random platinum blonde highlights in a section right in the middle of cheek-bone brushing bangs.)

::"Did you see that Fashion x core girl in a navy blue/white mini polka-dotted shirt, large white beaded necklace, chunky silver bracelets, worn jeans and converse sneakers, with brown hair and blonde streaked bangs? She looks great."

::"Yeah. I saw her. She was wearing green converse yesterday."

Fashion x Core Faggots

A Person who follows a fashion in it's entirety especially to get other's to like them.

They are the Fashion x Core Faggots. One who, wear's studded, belts, has big guaged ears and tattoo's covering arms. wears. Pink tight shirts. with band writing on them. Converse or slip-on vans is a must. Usually listens to bands like Showbread or the Blood Brothers. to let People know they're cool. Tight white belts. @ -toned hair and lip ring. Love's Plaid. and say's things like O My Gah!!!! and Stella. to fit in. General Fagdom

fashionxcore

A rapidly growing altertanitive teen subculture, spawning from both hardcore and emo. They tend to care way more about the fashion then the actual music, ussually always re-dying thier enormous chunk of combed over hair, or cutting off the tips of gloves and taking pictures of them obssessively for online personals,(ie myspace, xanga, LJ). Many are rich suburban kids, newly introduced into the rock scene, and tend to add thier own teenie bopper style.

Many try to hug the style of straight edgers, despite thier lack of knowledge of what it is. Online they tend to add X's in everything they type or write. Thier ussually very femine, and highly into fashion.

"Hey man, you wanna go hang out at the mall and pick up the new Atreyu album?"

fashioncore

A derogatory term that became popular in describing hardcore fans who care more about their look rather than the music.

You can wear a studded belt and listen to country, you can have a gold grill and listen to ska, you don't have to follow just one path. When you start dying your hair two-tone because everyone else at the concerts are doing it- you've become fashioncore.

When a band's videos are more important than their lyrics, they're fashioncore.

Fashioncore

A derogatory word used for people who when at shows care more about looking good and being seen than the music. Common misconception and closemindedness have made alot of people think it's people who wear tight jeans or put effort into their appearance. Wrong, it is not the kids who look good or care about their aesthetics. It's the kids who go to shows and don't give a fuck about the music; they are only there to show off their clothes, check out what everyone else is wearing, and go on about how they seen whoever before they sold out, or how they seen '_____' and they where phenomanal. These kids are usually found near the back with cameras, snapping pictures of the band but usually just themselves and friends. You can easily tell who they are because they've never so much as moved during a show and fix their hair every few seconds despite the fact that they haven't moved enough for it to be ruined.

Kid in the Pit: Look at all those fashioncore idiots standing around pretentiously they represent everything I hate in the music industry.
